Royal Dog Boarding Rebrand Identity Design
Developed a complete rebrand for a dog boarding and daycare facility called Royal Dog Boarding. The goal was to create a polished and memorable brand identity that combined the care and personality of a dog-focused business with an elevated, royal-inspired aesthetic.
I began the project by developing a range of logo sketches before refining my ideas digitally. I explored different ways to combine a dog with royal imagery and ultimately designed a dog head silhouette featuring a crown as the primary logo mark. I built the logo in Adobe Illustrator and developed a purple-based color palette along with elegant, royal-inspired typography to reinforce the brand concept.
I expanded the identity into a complete brand system, including a single-page graphic style guide, a multi-page graphic style guide booklet, business cards, letterhead, an envelope, merchandise mockups created in Photoshop, and a web landing page. Each piece was designed to maintain consistency in the logo, typography, colors, and overall visual style.
What I Learned
This project gave me experience developing a brand from the initial concept and sketches through a complete visual identity. I learned how important consistency is when applying a logo, color palette, typography, and graphic elements across both printed and digital materials. Creating merchandise mockups and a web landing page also helped me understand how a brand needs to work across different applications while still feeling like one cohesive identity.
