Lunar and Flower Sticker Sheet

Created a themed collection of full-color stickers in Adobe Illustrator, combining several of my initial ideas into one cohesive visual theme. My brainstorming included dogs, flowers, dreams, stars, camping, landscapes, photography, geometric shapes, gemstones, and different sayings. As I developed the concepts, I realized I could combine several of these ideas into a dreamy nighttime theme featuring floral elements, geometric shapes, stars, and moon phases.

I began by experimenting with different moon shapes and phases, then built the collection around them by adding flowers, stars, and geometric details. Each sticker was designed individually before being brought together into a cohesive sticker sheet.

Production & Cricut Process

After completing the illustrations, I imported each sticker into Cricut Design Space and prepared them for print-and-cut production. I created an offset around each design, flattened the artwork, and arranged the stickers within the required sticker sheet dimensions. I then printed and cut the completed sheet using a Cricut Explore 3.

What I Learned

This project helped me understand how individual illustrations can work together as a cohesive collection. I also learned more about preparing artwork for physical production and how different sticker papers can affect the cutting process and final appearance.

The Cricut preparation itself was fairly straightforward once the designs were organized correctly. Testing different sticker materials also showed me how important it is to test a new material before producing a final batch, since different papers can require different cutting settings and can change the appearance of the printed artwork.
