Event Invitation

Halloween Movie Night Invitation

Created a Halloween-themed event invitation for a fictional movie night. I wanted to combine recognizable Halloween and movie-related imagery to create a fun, cohesive design that immediately communicated the theme of the event.

I wanted to incorporated elements such as film strips, skulls, candy corn, popcorn, ghosts, spiders, and spider webs throughout the invitation. I experimented with the placement and scale of these elements to create visual interest without overwhelming the event information. The combination of Halloween imagery and movie references helped establish a playful, spooky atmosphere while keeping the overall design simple and easy to understand.

What I Learned

This project gave me practice creating a themed design by combining multiple visual elements while maintaining a clear hierarchy. I learned that decorative elements can add personality to an invitation, but they need to be balanced with the important event information so the design remains functional as well as visually engaging.
